Established in the summer of 2024 by a self-identifying Sapphic Señora (after having coined that term) who was tired of being the only “elder” at every queer social event. So what if she likes birdwatching, crossword puzzles, and dinner by a reasonable hour?

She’s also still hot AF (not just in a menopause way), and likes sharing good eats + drinks, rad music, outdoor activities, chill indoor vibes, and interesting stories with other fun queers, IRL not on SM. So a grown gay social club was born.

The mission of SSSC is to help other Sapphic Señoras connect with like-minded folks in our queer circles for friendship fun, community solidarity, and maybe amor! If you enjoy slow-ish living, quick wits, and good times, come swap mix-tapes, zines, art, books, DIYs, hobbies, recipes, activism, physician referrals—whatever does it for you in your Sapphic Señora/x Era.

Primarily intended for our Gen-X and Xennial (b.1965-1985) desert dwellers, but open to our Gen-Jones and 35+ Millennials (b.1955-1990) generational co-horts. We stan age-gap relationships if it works for you.

But please, younger-than-that folks need not apply. You guys already have *gestures broadly* all the events! Amazing. We love and support you bbs. Let us olds have a little of our own fun.
